Yes, our politics is broken and is in need of major reform. And I say this as a former politician: The fix won’t come from the politicians. The fix will only come from the American people.

Here’s the difference: It could change, but as of now, these Israel/America haters who’ve taken to the streets since Oct 7th are just the far left wing of the Democratic Party. But the MAGA right is not just a far right wing of the Republican Party. It IS the Republican Party.

The ugly truth is this: Jews in America & around the world are under attack. Once again. Antisemitism is on the rise. Once again. And the single most helpful thing all us non-Jews can do is publicly stand with & defend our Jewish brothers & sisters. We outnumber the antisemites.

Because I was a Trump supporter, I engage with Trump supporters regularly. I often ask them the following two questions: 1. Are you responsible for your own actions? They generally say yes. 2. Is Donald Trump responsible for his own actions? They generally hem and haw.
